We got up early at 6am to prepare for a 6 hour train ride that would take us to the extreme western side of Georgia. We traveled to the coast of the Black Sea to Georgia’s third largest city called Batumi. The train ride was very nice, winding it’s way through the lower caucus mountains from Tbilisi to the coast. We arrived at our hotel around 1:30 and connected with our Pastor friends for lunch at 2:30 or so. It was a great reunion. The Pastors had all been with us last
This morning we struggled to sleep. We were so tired last night that we fell asleep around 6 pm. We woke up ready to start the day at 10pm (this was not good). Jose Luis and I spent from 10pm till around 1am praying for our families, Calvary, and the people we were to be meeting on our trip. We also spent time journaling and writing. We arrived in Tbilisi at around 4:30am this morning. We were met by our host and we were blessed to get a little rest and refreshing before having our first meeting of this trip. We traveled into old town Tbilisi to a quaint little coffee shop called “Culture & Coffee”. It was a very nice shop, the service was excellent, and so was the coffee.
